A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum,
Thank you for viewing my profile. I was born and raised in Qatar but moved to Canada about 11 years ago , and have been settled here with my family since. My friends and family describe me as someone who is simple, calm, responsible, honest and hard-working. I am a practising Muslim and I believe in respecting all religions and being open minded. I tend to be a bit shy at first but when I get to know someone better I open up gradually and I think that’s partly because of my observant personality. I love helping people that are in need, and I also enjoy travelling and finding out new places and experiencing different ethnic foods (given that they are Halal). But because I cannot travel all the time due to constraints and responsibilities, I like to bring the travelling to me. In other words, I’ve chosen a career in something that I’m passionate about – hospitality and tourism, and I believe that my job keeps me down to earth and allows me to explore different cultures. I would say I have a good sense of humour, and although I am not an extremist when it come to my views, opinions and religion, I do value faith and I hope to find someone who would like to explore both duniya and deen with me, while maintain a good balance with the both. What I Am Looking For
My ideal life partner is someone who is down to earth, compassionate, honest, easy-going, family oriented, responsible, trustworthy, respectful, and also a practicing Muslimah. I am not particularly looking for someone who is strictly religious but rather someone who believes in simple values such as trust and honesty. I am open minded and would like someone who is willing to discover and learn more about this life and our religion together. I would also prefer that the person is family oriented and has some knowledge about our faith and cultural orientation.
